1 Hiebert, Paul WILLOWS REVISITED
Toronto Mcclelland and Stewart 1967 First Edition Hardcover Very Good in Very Good dust jacket
Scarce Title from the author of the classic Sarah Binks which won the Leacock Medal for Humour in 1947. HC has minor edge and corner wear, clean cover, light soiling to outer page edges.. Interior tight & clean other than previous owner's markings which includes a bookplate on inside cover, address stamp & blind stamp on title page and green dot on top edge. There is also a small amount of highlighting and underlining (on about 8 pages). 176 pages. DJ has edgewear, light soiling/yellowing, several small tears & chips, not clipped. SUMMARY: " Book is full of hilarious deadpan thrusts at culture vultures, pretentious politics and politicians, inflated poets and critics, and many other contemporary foibles. This deceptively straightforward narrative provides the reader with wonderful entertainment and does so memorably. "; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
