Book Valuations

I get a large number of requests from individuals wanting me to find out what their old (or possibly rare) books are worth.  Because this can be very time consuming, I have had to start charging a small fee for this service.

The fee for a general book search and valuation will be USD $10.00.  This fee will be billed to you prior to my starting any book searches.

What information will you receive from this book search?
This will be a brief general search.  I will check various sources and attempt to give you the current price range your book is selling for, and (if this information is available) what price copies may have recently been sold for.   These results are not guaranteed and the price you actually get for your book may vary depending on where you sell it, the current market conditions, etc. etc.

Please be aware that I am not an expert on Antiquarian books and the information I give you will be of a general nature and based on my observations, experience and/or opinions.  If you need more extensive information about a particular book, I suggest you contact a rare book dealer or antique dealer who specializes in this sort of thing.
